Work makes you free

I have just returned from a trip to Germany and, among other places, much lighter, I was one morning even in Dachau, near the first and perhaps most famous concentration camp in World War II.
On the gate of the camp is the word "work makes you free", in about 200,000 prisoners were held in inhumane conditions, of these about 60,000 died, 4,000 of them were Italian. How could this happen
such havoc in the middle of Europe, as the Nazis came to power is explained step by step inside the camp, the memorial museum that was set up.
The Nazis exploited the feeling of oppression of a nation in distress, in which workers no longer believe in trade unions, in which he was ready to believe any promises just to get back to being the power of the past.
It so happened that a party led by a madman and seized power, controlling all the media, treated the German people as if they were puppets, making believe that what was not and we know that getting dramatic results.
I think everyone should visit places like this, to get an education, because history teaches us so much.
If everyone were better educated, perhaps we would not have the current political situation in Italy, with the information in the hands of one man, flanked by the Fascist Party and a brotherhood of legionnaires who wants to go to war with guns.
